Jessica Townsend Hassler was born May 13,1972 in Jamestown, ND in a
small, prairie town renowned for having the largest concrete buffalo
in the country; maybe even in the world. After high school, Jessica
moved to Fargo, ND and found it to be just like the movie. She
attended Moorhead State
University,
where she revived
her BFA in Illustration and a Masters in Hot Dish & Bars. Jessica moved west in the year 2000 and settled in Portland, OR. She
is currently painting and enjoying life with her dog, two goats, and
five chickens.
